Pitts Finds Groove in 6-1 State College Triumph
State College Spikes starter Wayne Pitts pitched his team past the Auburn Doubledays, 6-1. The Spikes improved to 34-30.

Pitts, who is tied for 6th in the NYP with a 1.01 WHIP, pitched a complete game for State College. Pitts surrendered 7 hits over 9 innings and struck out 7. With the win, he moves to 7-4 on the season.

"If you can control the count and control the hitter, you're going to have the upper hand," said Pitts.
