Peugh, Scrappers Notch Nifty 2-1 Win Over West Virginia
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Mahoning Valley Scrappers and the West Virginia Black Bears. Mahoning Valley won it, 2-1. Mahoning Valley starter Bill Peugh was in command. Lindsay Nickerson finished to wrap up his 7th save. The Scrappers, now 53-12, have won 9 in a row.
