The Binghamton Mets snuck past the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 4-3, in 12 innings. Binghamton pitcher Mike DiDonato, in particular, had a standout performance. With the win, Binghamton lifts its record to 12-8.

Binghamton got a clutch hit from Leo Villanueva. The first baseman launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"That's what these guys do," said Mets manager Matt Young. "They battle, they fight."
