Steve Exner, who is tied for 3rd in the NYP in complete games with 3, propelled his team to victory over the Vermont Lake Monsters. The final score was 4-2, Connecticut. The first-place Tigers go to 44-22.

Making an impact for the home team was Daniel Albright. In the bottom of the sixth, the 23-year old catcher had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 4-2, Tigers.

"Nice to be on top of the heap," said Tigers manager Sean Raymond.
