Starting pitcher Jose Liriano pitched well enough to help the Williamsport Crosscutters beat the Brooklyn Cyclones, 8-5. Macho Ceja got credit for the save for Williamsport. It was his 4th of the year. Williamsport is now 36-31, Brooklyn 30-37.

Damian Gallegos had a chance to do some damage in the top of the ninth. With Brooklyn trailing 8-5, Brooklyn had runners on 1st and 2nd. But Gallegos lined out.
