Aberdeen Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Aberdeen Ironbirds faced a tough opponent in Connecticut pitcher Kenneth Creasy, but found a way to pull out the victory at Ripken Stadium by a final score of 5-1 in 13 innings. Creasy went 5 innings and allowed no runs. Aberdeen has now reeled off 9 straight wins.

Aberdeen got a knockout punch from Alex Diaz. The third baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the bottom of the 13th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"I'll play 10 innings, I'll play 20," said Ironbirds manager Jose Sierra. "Whatever it takes to win the ballgame."
