Soggy conditions did not keep Batavia and Mahoning Valley from playing their scheduled game.

In a low-scoring game between the Batavia Muckdogs and the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, pitcher Chad Harman was masterful on the mound. The Batavia left-hander spearheaded his team's 3-1 win. The save was credited to Phil O'Keefe, his 3rd.

Batavia used the hitting of Oscar Reyes to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Muckdogs on top, 2-0. For the game, Reyes had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
