The Brooklyn Cyclones and Vermont Lake Monsters obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

Allen Bucklew propelled his team to victory over the Vermont Lake Monsters. The final score was 7-6, Brooklyn. Vermont is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.

The Cyclones got a big at-bat from catcher Rich Schweitzer. For the game, Schweitzer was 1-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season gave Brooklyn a 7-6 lead.
