The Brooklyn Cyclones went down to defeat to Giuseppe Deganello and his Lowell teammates. The final score was 2-1, Spinners, in 10 innings. Lowell reliever Salvador Lopez snagged the win, upping his record to 5-1. Ralph Caulfield shouldered the loss. Lowell now sits at 29-40, while Brooklyn falls to 37-32.

Lowell used the timely hitting of Juan Flores to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Spinners on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Lowell manager Victor Aquino.
