The Tri-City ValleyCats beat the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 7-2, at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. Tri-City center fielder Chris Parrish banged out 2 singles and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. At 32-39, the ValleyCats are currently second in the Stedler Division.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium seemed to enjoy watching the New York-Penn League action.

"They had a good approach," Aberdeen skipper Jose Sierra said of the opposition. "Hats off to them."
