The Vermont Lake Monsters stymied the Tri-City ValleyCats, 4-2, at Centennial Field. Manny Montolio had a good day at the plate. He went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for Vermont. The Lake Monsters go to 20-50, putting them last in the Stedler Division.

Montolio contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Vermont get the win.
