Doubledays fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

The Auburn Doubledays topped the West Virginia Black Bears, 5-4, in New York-Penn League action at Falcon Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Auburn pitcher Mikey Thomas. Auburn reliever Ray Koval got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Dave Stearns was tagged with the loss.

Nick Stielow was the walk-off hero for Auburn. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Doubledays left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Thomas.

Auburn, at 35-36, holds down 4th place in the Pinckney Division.
