Richmond County Bank Ballpark played host to some exciting baseball.

Staten Island Yankees starter Earl Pipkin pitched a strong game against the Tri-City ValleyCats at Richmond County Bank Ballpark, leading the Yankees to victory, 4-3. Staten Island is now 36-36, Tri-City 44-28.

The Yankees got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Willie Fierro. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Yankees.

"This joint was rocking," said Fierro.
