The Ironbirds grabbed a win, 4-1, at Ripken Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Brooklyn pitcher Armand Wronski. Wronski went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Josh Devlin picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-2. Satoshi Inouye, who is tied for 6th in the NYP in holds with 6, was tagged with the loss. The McNamara Division-leading Ironbirds are 54-19.

Aberdeen took a 3-1 lead on Gustavo Soriano's 9th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Soriano hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Brooklyn pitcher Satoshi Inouye visibly frustrated.

Soriano said his team "played with focus and determination."
