In a high-scoring contest between Burlington and Beloit, center fielder Manuel Hermosillo was a difference-maker. Hermosillo distinguished himself in the 11-8 Burlington win. He went 2-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Burlington has a record of 56-80, placing them last in the Western Division.

Hermosillo contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Burlington in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Hermosillo took a fastball from Andy Ash and stroked the home run to center. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Bees to leap in front, 4-1.

"I guess we'll all be a happy family for at least one day," said Hermosillo.
