At Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium, the Fort Wayne TinCaps and South Bend Cubs were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Edwin Galdamez, who is tied for 5th in the MID in wins with 12, was locked in. The right-hander led the South Bend Cubs to a 6-3 win against the Fort Wayne TinCaps at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium. After today's action, South Bend sits at 83-54, while Fort Wayne falls to 64-73.

In the bottom of the fourth, South Bend right fielder John Kincaid had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and two out, Kincaid stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 4-3, South Bend. For the game, he was 1 for 3 with a walk and was hit by a pitch.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Kincaid. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
