The Dayton Dragons topped the Lansing Lugnuts by the score of 2-0, with the biggest share of the credit going to shortstop Antonio Villasenor. Villasenor was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk for the Dragons on the day. Dayton reliever Carlos Flores was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Chris Stumpf took the loss. Andres Velez closed the game out for Dayton, earning his 2nd save.
In the top of the third, with the game still scoreless, Villasenor hit a run-scoring single to put his team in the lead.
