LumberKings Fall Short at Wisconsin, 2-1
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers took Clinton pitcher Xavier McLaurin's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium. The final score had Wisconsin getting past the LumberKings, 2-1. McLaurin went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 8. Wisconsin reliever Ethan Jones snagged the win, upping his record to 12-8. Dave Pena shouldered the loss. Wisconsin is now 76-61, while Clinton is 75-62.

DeAndre Driggers was the walk-off hero for Wisconsin. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Timber Rattlers shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"He who laughs last laughs best," Driggers said, postgame.
