Bees Reel-In 5-3 Win Over Chiefs
The Burlington Bees defeated the Peoria Chiefs, 5-3, in Midwest League action at Dozer Park. Burlington pitcher Greg Powell had a standout performance. Picking up the save was 21-year old right-handed pitcher David Ferber. The 4th-place Bees hiked their record to 73-64.

Chris Gautreaux went 1-3 with a triple and a walk for Burlington. The 21-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Simon Juneau. It was his 46th RBI of the season.

"We'll sip on a cold one and savor this win," said Gautreaux.
