The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes beat the Everett AquaSox, 4-2, at Everett Memorial Stadium. Quinn Towles, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The win gives Salem-Keizer a record of 4-7.
In the first inning, Towles had a run-scoring triple for Salem-Keizer. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Volcanoes on top, 1-0.
"I thought we played a nice game," Towles told the Salem-Keizer News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
