Boise Wins Round 1
Thursday, September 19th , 2115
The Boise Hawks took time to celebrate with the Boise fans who stuck around after the game, following the team's Round 1 triumph over the Cincinnati (SS-A) Reds.

Members of the Hawks hung around chatting, high-fiving and taking pictures with the Boise fans in attendance at Memorial Stadium, long after the last pitch had been thrown in their 4-3 win to seal the series 3-1.

"We've got great fan support," said shortstop Jadon Thomas. "Whether we're at home or on the road, the fans support us. So we wanted to show them how important that is to us. Some Cincinnati (SS-A) fans that were there even congratulated us on the win."

For the series, Thomas hit .529 with a .579 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.

Things weren't so cordial on the Reds side of things. Their clubhouse was closed to media after the game and all players and coaches quickly dressed and left the stadium after the end to their season.

The Boise Hawks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Milwaukee (SS-A) Brewers - Everett AquaSox series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
