Hawks Defeat Reds, 4-3
The Boise Hawks trumped the Cincinnati (SS-A) Reds, 4-3, in 11 innings. Boise third baseman Danny Salcedo was impactful. He went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win belonged to Ole Jacobs in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Ricardo Luna took the loss for Cincinnati (SS-A). The Reds fall to 4-7 and continue their wobbly start to the 2112 season.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the 11th. With Boise trailing 3-2, Dave Bermudez hit a fastball from Ricardo Luna to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Hawks had a walk-off win.

"That was high adrenalin and it was fun," Bermudez said.
