The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes snuck past the Eugene Emeralds, 3-2, in 10 innings. Salem-Keizer pitcher Danny Casas, in particular, had a standout performance. The win was credited to Eli Conniff in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Andrew Henning took the loss. For the Emeralds, the loss makes them 6-9.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Felix Cancino? The 19-year old right fielder Cancino stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put Salem-Keizer up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
