Reds Make It 4 In a Row with 10-6 Triumph Over Kansas City (SS-A)
|
The Cincinnati (SS-A) Reds beat the Kansas City (SS-A) Royals, 10-6, at Stallions Ballpark. Brian Criss, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Eli Martinez, the winning pitcher, is now 1-2. He went 6 innings, allowing 5 runs on 10 hits, while fanning 2 and walking 3. Cincinnati (SS-A) is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 6th in 15 games.
Making an impact for the home team was Mitch Kuhl. In the bottom of the fourth, the 23-year old center fielder had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 5-3, Reds.
"The name of the game is scoring runs," Kuhl said. "We did a good job of that today."
