Teems, Dodgers Dispatch Hillsboro, 2-0
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Hillsboro Hops and Los Angeles N (SS-A) Dodgers get after it.
The Los Angeles N (SS-A) Dodgers picked up a win at Ballpark of Conshohocken, knocking off the Hillsboro Hops, 2-0. Starting pitcher David Teems was a big reason why. At 11-5, the Dodgers claim first place in the South Division.
Teems tossed 97 pitches over 6 innings to clinch the win for the Dodgers. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits, while racking up 10 strikeouts in the game.
"There are times you get yourself out and there are times you come through," Teems said. "That's how it goes."
