Vancouver shortstop Salvador Casas helped his team beat the Cincinnati (SS-A) Reds, 10-0. Casas went 3 for 3 for the Canadians. Nick Bondi got credit for the save for Vancouver. It was his 1st of the year. The Canadians now have a mark of 8-8.

Javier Buelna had an important at-bat with two out in the top of the ninth, when he hit a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put Vancouver on top, 10-0.

"The most important thing is that we won," Buelna said.
