Kansas City (SS-A) Tacks 3-2 Loss on Vancouver
Kansas City (SS-A) Royals starter Noah Jones turned in a sterling performance against the Vancouver Canadians, leading his team to a slim, 3-2 win. Rob Hyde closed the door for Kansas City (SS-A), picking up his 2nd save of the year. The victory gives the Royals a record of 11-7.

Kansas City (SS-A) used a clutch at-bat from Matt Justus to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Royals ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"If we keep winning the close games," Jones said, "we'll be in good shape at the end."
