Sylvain Powers Brewers to 7-3 Win
The Milwaukee (SS-A) Brewers bested the Atlanta (SS-A) Braves, 7-3, at Ballpark of Fremont. Ben Sylvain was one of the standouts. He hit 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times. Milwaukee (SS-A) starter Henry Arrellano was credited with the win after throwing 89 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-1. The second-place Brewers sport a record of 10-8.

With Milwaukee (SS-A) leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Sylvain came up to bat against Atlanta (SS-A) pitcher Chris Pulling. Sylvain hit a fastball to right for a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Brewers on top, 5-1.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Milwaukee (SS-A) manager Will Antwydamaylo.
