Willie Vasquez propelled his team to victory over the Milwaukee (SS-A) Brewers. The final score was 5-2, Cincinnati (SS-A). Willie Sedillos got the save, the 2nd for him this season. Cincinnati (SS-A) now sports a record of 13-5.

Tied up with the Brewers in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Reds got a boost from catcher Enrique Galvez. With the bases loaded, Galvez saw a 0-1 sinker from Steve Carver and hit a 2-run single to break the stalemate and put Cincinnati (SS-A) on top, 2-0.

"This game is going to humble you at times and you've got to man up and deal with it," said Milwaukee (SS-A) manager Ben Schorn.
