Braves Snag 3-2 Win
|
The Everett AquaSox and Atlanta (SS-A) Braves provided some drama for the home crowd.
The Atlanta (SS-A) Braves knocked off the Everett AquaSox, 3-2, at Rocketmen Stadium. Tim Addison was a big reason Atlanta (SS-A) won. The third baseman hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Matt Rauscher earned the save for Atlanta (SS-A), his 2nd.
Addison had a timely hit for Atlanta (SS-A) in the bottom of the eighth. With Atlanta (SS-A) trailing 2-1, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 3-2, Atlanta (SS-A).
"Scoring runs is scoring runs," said Atlanta (SS-A) skipper Terrell Hagans. "It's important to have different ways to do it."
Atlanta (SS-A) is now 6-12.
