With Late Score, Reds Beat Dust Devils
The Tri-City Dust Devils could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Manny Dones into a win. Instead, the Cincinnati (SS-A) Reds prevailed, 4-3. Dones threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball. Cincinnati (SS-A) reliever Jesus Roman picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Danny Torres was tagged with the loss. The Reds saw their win-loss record go to 7-12. At the same time, the Dust Devils fell to 9-10.

Kyle Brent was the walk-off hero for Cincinnati (SS-A). With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Reds third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Brent.
