Dodgers Snag 4-2 Win
|
The Los Angeles N (SS-A) Dodgers had to overcome a fine effort from Milwaukee (SS-A) pitcher Jim Patin to grab a narrow 4-2 win at Ballpark of Conshohocken. Patin went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 run. With the victory, the Dodgers record now stands at 16-5.
Had Francisco Cedeno not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Cedeno hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Dodgers.
"This team keeps racking up the wins," said Dodgers manager Noah Grills.
