Milwaukee (SS-A) and Spokane got after it at Ballpark of Fremont.

Behind a solid performance from left fielder Shane Blanchfield, the Milwaukee (SS-A) Brewers defeated the Spokane Indians, 6-2. Blanchfield slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Brewers. With the win, Milwaukee (SS-A) raised its record to 12-8.

Blanchfield had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-2 fastball from Robert Manzo, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Brewers a 5-2 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Blanchfield.

Milwaukee (SS-A) manager Ben Schorn attributed the win to "a little bit of this and a little bit of that."
