Cincinnati (SS-A) Gets 4-2 Win Versus Salem-Keizer in 10
Volcanoes Stadium was the site for Northwest League action featuring the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes and Cincinnati (SS-A) Reds.

The Cincinnati (SS-A) Reds had to overcome a fine effort from Salem-Keizer pitcher Ramon Pensotti to win, 4-2, in 10 innings at Volcanoes Stadium. Pensotti went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run. The Reds sit in last place in the South Division with a record of 13-20.

Cincinnati (SS-A) used a timely hit from Raul Ruiz to get the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Reds ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

In postgame remarks, Ruiz simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
