Dorsey Dominant in Canadians Victory
|
Tim Dorsey never let Boise get something going. The Vancouver right-hander commanded his splitter in pitching the Canadians to a 2-0 win. Angel Arellano collected his 2nd save. The second-place Canadians have won 4 in a row.
Dorsey, who dominated for Vancouver, earned the victory to move to 3-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 8. Boise batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Vancouver manager Edelberto Chapado.
