Late Rally Earns Milwaukee (SS-A) 1-0 Win
|
There was no shortage of dramatics at Ballpark of Fremont.
Milwaukee (SS-A) turned a good effort from starting pitcher Jim Moseley into a win over the Minnesota (SS-A) Twins at Ballpark of Fremont. The final score was 1-0 in 12 innings. The Brewers improved their record to 21-14 with the win over Minnesota (SS-A).
The Brewers got a clutch hit from catcher Sergio Cordoves. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single to left-center, to win the game for the Brewers.
"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Brewers manager Ben Schorn.
