Tight Tilt Goes to Volcanoes, 3-2
The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes and Milwaukee (SS-A) Brewers played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.

Salem-Keizer pitcher Venceslau Mana did his part in helping his team beat the Milwaukee (SS-A) Brewers, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Salem-Keizer is 16-19 and Milwaukee (SS-A), with the loss, 16-21.

Salem-Keizer took a 3-2 lead on Cody Fosse's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Fosse hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Milwaukee (SS-A) pitcher Jose Mercado visibly frustrated.

"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Mana after the game.
