Kansas City (SS-A) Falters Again, Loses, 6-0, to Everett
|
The Kansas City (SS-A) Royals got a sterling performance from pitcher Armando Rosa, but the Everett AquaSox still prevailed, 6-0. Rosa came in in relief and pitched to 24 batters. Mark Young claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4.1 innings. His record stands at 2-0. The slumping Royals have dropped 6 in a row.
Kansas City (SS-A) had runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the sixth. With two out, Andy Cruz stood at the plate, hoping to find a gap. Instead, he grounded out. The score remained 2-0, Everett. The Royals never could mount a comeback.
