Garnica drives in 6 runs, Supercharges Reds Offense
The Cincinnati (SS-A) Reds grabbed a win, 9-5, over the Spokane Indians at Stallions Ballpark. Cincinnati (SS-A) right fielder Arturo Garnica went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored once. Elijah Rouse earned his 4th save, after closing out the game. The Reds, now 18-22, know that wins in August count the same as wins in September.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Reds grabbed the lead when Garnica hit his 2nd home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Gabe Converse made it 5-2, Cincinnati (SS-A).

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Garnica told the Cincinnati (SS-A) Observer.
