The umbrellas came out during the Cincinnati (SS-A)-Chicago A (SS-A) contest at Stallions Ballpark.

The Cincinnati (SS-A) Reds locked up a win at Stallions Ballpark, knocking off the Chicago A (SS-A) White Sox, 4-2. On the mound for Cincinnati (SS-A) was right-hander Danny Samico. He played a major role in the triumph. In 6.1 innings, Samico surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Elijah Rouse earned his 5th save, after closing out the game.

Cincinnati (SS-A) first baseman Zózimo Crossas contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 18th hit of the season and put the Reds ahead, 2-0.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Crossas told the Cincinnati (SS-A) Observer.

The last-place White Sox have dropped 4 straight games.
