Dust Devils Score Late to Nip AquaSox, 6-5
|
Everett second baseman Alex Saucedo had a good game, even if his team did not. The AquaSox dropped a 6-5 decision to Tri-City at Gesa Stadium. Saucedo was 2-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Dust Devils improved to 5-38.
Julio Aldana was the walk-off hero for Tri-City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dust Devils third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Aldana.
