The Vancouver Canadians topped the Milwaukee (SS-A) Brewers, 4-2, in Northwest League action at Ballpark of Fremont. The standout performance belonged to Vancouver pitcher and Irmo, South Carolina, native Josh Pinkston. Pinkston got the win, improving to 4-2. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 5 innings. He allowed no runs. With this game in the books, Vancouver is 26-17, Milwaukee (SS-A) 25-19.

Jaden Grady had a direct impact on the outcome. Grady contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Vancouver up, 4-0.

"Josh was bobbing and weaving the whole game," said Vancouver manager Chris Jeffreys.
