Rivera Leads Reds to 6-0 Win Over Volcanoes
The performance of Blaine Rivera proved critical in helping Cincinnati (SS-A) beat Salem-Keizer, 6-0. The Reds third baseman was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Bobby Segovia earned the win, while 22-year old right-handed pitcher Alex Sandoval took the loss for Salem-Keizer. Cincinnati (SS-A) is now 24-20.

Cincinnati (SS-A) took a 5-0 lead on Rivera's 5th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Alex Sandoval in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Cincinnati (SS-A) to the win.

"The most important thing is that we won," Rivera said.
