The Erie SeaWolves wiggled past the Reading Fightin Phils, 3-2, in 10 innings at Jerry Uht Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of Erie pitcher Seth Thornton. Bryce Beasley earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record is now 1-0. Erie is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 8th in 20 games.

The SeaWolves got a clutch hit from first baseman Juan de la Parra. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the SeaWolves.

"It took some blood and sweat, but we got what we were after," said SeaWolves manager Frank Hennessy.
