Baysox Get Clutch Win Versus Richmond
Starting pitcher Oscar Ramos had a solid game. He was a big reason the Bowie Baysox throttled the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 3-2. The win went to Eric Fox in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Bryan Townsend took the loss. Early on, the Baysox, at 15-5, have played an impressive brand of baseball.

Josh Cummings had a direct impact on the outcome. Cummings contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Bowie up, 2-1.

"I was a little disappointed," said Richmond manager Fernando Melendez. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
