The Harrisburg Senators racked up a win at People's Natural Gas Field, bumping off the Altoona Curve, 4-2. Mario Morales, who started for Harrisburg, pitched effectively for his team. Morales, now 1-0, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. With the win, Harrisburg lifts its record to 10-10.
Harrisburg used the bat of Tyler Block to capture the win. The right fielder jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Senators ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Block told the Harrisburg Daily.
