Nick Guth had a hand in Reading defeating Harrisburg by the score of 8-5. Guth went 2 for 2 at the plate, scoring 1 times and driving in 2 runs. Reading reliever Manny Robledo was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Danny Montes took the loss. Oktyabr Iashvili sewed up the save, his 6th.

Nick Sweet went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Reading. The 25-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring walk off Pete Pritchett. It was his 7th walk of the season.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Guth. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."

With the win, Reading boosts its record to 8-13.
