The Texas (AZL) Rangers picked up a win at Camelback Ranch, knocking off the Chicago A (AZL) White Sox, 4-2. Starting pitcher Alex Casas played a key role in the triumph. Texas (AZL) has a record of 1-1.

Texas (AZL) used a well-timed hit by R.J. Tejeda to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Rangers ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 1 at-bat, it was important.

"We put it together and came out with the win," Tejeda said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
