The Texas (AZL) Rangers overcame a pretty good performance by Cleveland (AZL) shortstop Adam Hoch, beating the Guardians, 4-3, at Surprise Stadium. Hoch went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Rico Pinero earned the save for Texas (AZL), his 1st of the year. With the win, Texas (AZL) improves its record to 1-3.

Travis Dunham went 1-4 for Texas (AZL). The 21-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Jake Biller. It was his 3rd RBI of the season.

"Time to decompress after a tough win," said Dunham.
