Curve Make It 4 In a Row with 6-0 Triumph Over Trenton
|
Starting pitcher Edwin Colomer fulfilled his part of the bargain, helping the Altoona Curve stymie the Trenton Thunder, 6-0. Altoona goes to 13-7.
The Curve got a big at-bat from third baseman Jeff Youngs. For the game, Youngs was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Altoona a 2-0 lead.
"Edwin was dictating to their hitters," said Altoona manager Gerardo Zarco.
