Fans got some free baseball at Peoria Sports Complex.

The Texas (AZL) Rangers powered past the Seattle (AZL) Mariners, 13-11, at Peoria Sports Complex. Zach Baltzell went 5 for 6 with a home run and 4 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3, to lead the charge. David Herrera notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 5 runs on 4 hits in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-0.

Texas (AZL) used a clutch hit from Werner Hutfloetz to get the win. The center fielder drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rangers ahead, 10-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"There's no quit in this team," said Rangers manager Danny Alonso.

The win elevated the Rangers to 15-6.
