Drew O'Laughlin put on a hitting clinic in helping Texas (AZL) beat Milwaukee (AZL), 8-3. O'Laughlin had 1 single and 2 doubles for the Rangers. He also scored 1 run and knocked in 3. Earning his 1st save of the year was Ramon Espana. The last-place Rangers now have a record of 13-10.

Texas (AZL) shortstop Chris Guay contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a sinker to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 14th hit of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 3-1.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Texas (AZL) manager Danny Rios.
