White Sox Rally For Late Win Over Giants
The Chicago A (AZL) White Sox got a magnificent performance from pitcher Brian Sainsbury, who muffled the San Francisco (AZL) offense en route to a tight 3-1 White Sox win at Scottsdale Stadium. Aaron Plummer earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. His record is now 3-1. Chicago A (AZL) now sits at 17-6, while San Francisco (AZL) falls to 10-13.

Chicago A (AZL) used the timely hitting of Danny Perez to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the White Sox on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

Perez attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
