Win Lifts Diamondbacks to 19-9
The Seattle (AZL) Mariners could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Alberto Ocasio into a win. Instead, the Arizona (AZL) Diamondbacks prevailed, 4-2. Ocasio threw 6.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Arizona (AZL) reliever Andrew Thrower picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Pedro Gonzales absorbed the loss. Devin Lynch notched his 2nd save of the season.

Jon Fox provided a timely hit. The Arizona (AZL) pinch hitter delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Diamondbacks on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

Fox attributed the win to his team's "determination."
